How to Read and Annotate EPUB Files on Kobo Clara Colour (2026 Guide)

The Kobo Clara Colour (released 2024) is Kobo's first 6-inch colour E Ink reader. It uses a Kaleido 3 display that delivers colour at 150 ppi alongside monochrome text rendering at 300 ppi, making it well-suited for reading illustrated EPUBs, children's books, graphic novels, and any content where colour adds value — while remaining an excellent text reader for standard prose EPUBs. It ships with ComfortLight PRO for adjustable warm/cold lighting and supports Bluetooth audio for audiobook playback.
