How to get EPUBs onto your Kobo Clara Colour

Method 1: USB-C cable

Connect the Clara Colour to your computer via USB-C.
Open the Kobo drive in Finder or File Explorer.
Drag your EPUB files to the root of the drive or any subfolder.
Eject safely. The Kobo will index the files automatically when you disconnect.

Method 2: Calibre (wireless or USB)

Long-press any word to start a text selection. Tap Highlight to mark it — the Clara Colour supports highlights in yellow, blue, pink, green, and orange. Tap Add Note to attach a typed comment. All highlights and notes sync to your Kobo account and appear in the Notebooks section.

Converting PDFs to EPUB for the Kobo Clara Colour

Fixed-layout PDFs do not reflow on a 6-inch screen. Converting to EPUB first gives you:
